Q. What type of organizations can participate in the program?

Carts4kids.com is open to all organizations who are interested in Recycling their empty inkjet cartridges and empty laer toners in Canada. Our program is available to schools, sports teams, child centers, libraries, nonprofit organizations, business offices, individual end users and more.

Q. What is the minimum amount of Inkjets & Laser Toners do you accept?

To help save on postage we require a minimum of 25 inkjets or laser toners. Collect as many inkjets & toners as you can and when your ready and have collected a minimum of 25 cartridges, pack them up print our free shipping label and tape it to the box & drop them off at any Canada Post office.

Q. I have cartridges to turn in that aren't on your list, what should I do with them?

Q. Do you pay for all shipping costs?

Yes, we pay all shipping costs provided you follow our shipping/packing requirements and send the requested minimums of 25 laser toners/inkjets are virgin (empty & never remanufactured), undamaged and appear on our current price list. If minimums are not met a percentage will be deducted from your recycling check for shipping costs.
*If box size exceeds 75" L+W+H, a $45.00 Fee will be deducted from recycling earnings. To help reduce costs please do not send multiple boxes. Either send 1 large box or contact us at info@carts4kids.com for instructions on sending multiple boxes.

Q. How do we package the empty inkjet cartridge for shipping?

For empty inkjet cartridges that are being sent to our office in Canada, please either use a zip lock bag to place the empty inkjet in. You can also wrap the empty inkjet in newspaper.

Q. How do we package the empty laser toners for shipping?

Carefully wrap the laser toner in newspaper or use the original plastic bag that your laser toner came in and place it carefully in the box.

Q. I'm located in the USA, can we still ship our empty cartridges to Canada?

Yes you can still participate in our empty inkjet and laser toner recycling program in Canada. You cannot use our free postage label, you must ship via USPS and we will credit you the amount you paid for the shipping charges to our office in Canada.

Q. When should I expect payment?

After we verify that all empty inkjets and empty laser toners are undamaged you will receive your payment within 3-5 business days.

Q. I'm located in the Toronto area can we drop off our empty cartridges to your office?

Yes if you are located in the Toronto Canada area you may drop off your empty inkjets and empty laser toners at our office. Please click on the contact us link on the left to find our address.
